My Handmade！

Someone else Handmade！！！

It is very difficult to be creative in Hong Kong！
As a graphic designer I see so many copycat！

The owner of la belle epoque just pass me this link。
After seeing this, I think I need to shout out！
Although I have very little voice！

I just thought that some lovely customer have buy my handmade product and
post it on a Hong Kong Pug forum call pugmart!
After I open the link！It is really shock!
I know it will happen someday!
But when it comes to me , still Shock and Speechless！

Although someone may think my handmade product seems easy to made.
Maybe not worth that price. They can do it by themselve.

But why it cost that price?
My doggies is all design by myself。
The progress of design takes time and effort。
I need to redo and modify and redo to make it perfect for sell.
Of course, the sewing process also takes time.
Fee for Consignment and Etsy fee and Paypal fee...
Some of the seller even said my product is below price.

Lucky my doggies still my doggies!
The other is still different.
I wish the person who do this can feel
how many time and effort I have put to make a dog.
Excluding the design progress!
Still have a lot to go!

She have given her doggies as a gift for her friend this time.
(as she said in the forum)
I hope she will buy an original work for her friend next time.
It will be more fair to my customer.
Many of them buy my handmade product for their friends as a present.

Mamma Mia

Today morning I go to see a movie "Mamma Mia" with my family.
We haven't go to cinema together for a very long time.
The last time is "Ghost".
Two ladies sitting next to me are very noisy.
They sing ALL the song (hey this is not a Karaoke!!!) and talk loudly.
Makes me angry.

In the evening Typhoon come again!
There are many strong typhoon this year.

These few days I started to make the ring pillow again.
For my friends V wedding. This is the two design I've made.

Today we go to Hong Kong Disneyland

Today I and my mom and some of my relative (totally 8 people) go to Disneyland.

I have a annual pass. This period is Disneyland 3rd anniversary.

I can bring my mom for free.

Billie (The owner) said I can put more handmade in her shop.

It's so great.

Tomorrow I will go to Disney

Today I stay home concentrate to finish some doggies.
I've made some new ones.

Welsh Corgi, Yorkshire Terrier and Dachshund.

I think the Yorkshire Terrier is very funny！

It looks like the "Monkey" in Star War.

It takes lots of work.

Keeping on sewing and sewing for a day.

My back is very painful.

These three days I've make 12 doggies.
I put ten in la belle epoque。
I make each very carefully and will miss them a lot.

If I can keep on making the doggies till the end of my life.

It will be so cool 。

(is a day dreaming......)

Now my goal is made all breed of dogs。
It will take a very long time to finish。
If I can finish all breed and print a poster or have a book of my collection.

It will be amazing 。

A little bit tired

These days I'm a little bit tired.
I have made a crazy panda and organize my Embroidery Floss.

This weekend and Monday is Mid-Autumn Festival.

We have eat some modern mooncake.

Haven't made to many new animals.

Monday morning I've go to the library.

Afternoon handmade. A new Schnauzer.


At night I've try to do embroidery.

I'm very happy because two items sold !

Rubber Stamping

Today I have try to made my first rubber stamp after
reading some books for "HOW to made rubber stamp".
The out come looks better than before.
Still need to keep on practice the technique.


I have made two felt and fabric containers which is for myself.

Today I started to help to prepare my friend V's wedding.
Not much time left. Have to Hurry!
I have finish the party invitation graphic.
Start to test for the ring pillow.
I sew it by my new little sewing machine but the feel of sewing "Not good".
I think I will need to buy a regular sewing machine later.
After finishing the pillow, I put the decoration on it. Playing a mix and match.



This felt flower I make it the day before.
